Dr. Michael Zacchilli is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon at TheOrthopedic Institute atLenox Hill - GreenwichVillage. He graduated with honors from HarvardUniversity and the University of MassachusettsMedicalSchool. He completed his residency with theUnited States Army, where he served as chiefresident and was voted thedistinguished graduateof his class. Following residency he was stationed atFort Bragg, where he cared for Airborne andSpecialOperations soldiers, completed three deployments,and was selected for assignment with the JointSpecial OperationsCommand. After completing hismilitary service, he completed a fellowship at theNYU-Langone Hospital for Joint Diseases.
